Dam Hammer, thats one fine package, and the roller looks nice too brother. ;D

I just got back from Salisbury, with new LED Nav lights as posted, plus a chain tensioner, and a few other goodies.

I've got to come to OC Monday around 5 for a meeting, so I may slip on up then. I'll bring quarters ;D

Damm, you remember the quarters. ;D
Not sure of my schedule for Monday, if not busy we can meet, or you can help paint the lower unit. ;D

Looks good!!

Hey what year is your boat? On the 70's there is a 3/4 lip around the bow, thats why when you look at mine I have spacers.
But on newer stuff they did away with that lip so no spacers needed.
Just a heads up ;)

Hammer, just thought of something.....Thank you for stepping up to the plate and ordering everything. Your a heck of a guy. ;)

Ok guys, the night slowed down, 1 accident and two fights with shots being fired. The afro-americans are shooting at themselves tonight.
Figured I post a few pics of the pulpit. No painting or wiring involved, so I guess I cant screw it up. ;D

Doing some custom work here. Ordered something special, hopefully it will be done soon and I can mount it.
Not sure how it will look, if not, oh well.

Even played with some air tools.  ;D

Air is dying to get his stuff and getting to work on his. ;D

Heck, I just figured mine would come pre-assembled. ;D

Actually, mine will need some custom work as well, because I have a pre-existing deck pipe that is only 5.5" off centerline. Pending how much overhang, I may have to shorten mine by 5 or 6". Either that or move the deck pipe, which I'd rather not do.

She's lookin sharp there Hammer, and the drool is starting to flow here, gotta go...

Here's a question, seeing as how nothing sticks to starboard, do we put a sealant / bedding compound between the deck / pulpit?

I say yes, silicone or something. I know they say nothing sticks, but squashing some sealant under the starboard around teh holes wont hurt.

I was thinking 5200 for this app, as it will somewhat adhere to starboard, and will certainly adhere to the deck.

I agree, 5200 is the way to go, It wont hurt, thats for sure. Not sure when i can install mine. Need a chain tension, looed at them on E-Bay. A bit pricey. Might have to wait for the next overtime check to come in.

Slot ya might wanna try the same trick I did on my cap reattachment...sealant in the gap B4 ya tighten down...let cure and THEN torque 'er on down...shim it up w/ round toothpix...ya don't need much ;) ... then you'll have a ''compression'' seal to the S'board ...

Those are nice lookin' pulpits ya'll puttin' together, Guys...makes me wish I needed one ::) ...

Put some silcone sealant/caulk around the bolt holes,
let it set, and then it will act like a gasket when you squeeze it down.
If you don't let it set, and you install the pulpit, the silicone will
set in the squeezed state and will not stick and work it's way out.

Just an idea.
