So I have to ask. Where do all the stern hatch covers go?

I remember reading old post from people looking for stern hatch covers for the their V20 and all the regulars responding saying the are like gold and are hard to find. Being a center console guy I never payed it much attention. However I just pick up a 89 V20 cutty cabin on the cheap and you never guess what's missing. So tell where the stern hatch covers go I these things?

The hatches blow open going down the road on the trailer smacking the cleat and they either break or break off.

I always make sure to have mine straped closed with a bungee when going down the highway.
 
My uncle opened his while fishing and it cracked and fell into the water. Sunk like a rock. I caught the stern hatch, on my V18, on my deck and ripped it off. Luckily I was able to put it back together.
 
Im missing two on the back of my CC one in the floor broke one on the stern blew off going down the highway

Cant find either anywhere. Gonna have to get them made
