Soon.....

A long cold and snowy winter looks to be behind us, thank god. I must say as routinely miserable as it was , it seemed like it went quickly this time around. I've got batteries charging right now and maybe this weekend she'll come down off the blocks and onto the trailer. Not taking the cover off just yet.....we've had plenty of early spring snow storms. Should be ready by April 1st. I always look foward to firing up that big v-6 after a long winters nap. Here's to saying good-bye to winter!!

We've already made a few shakedown runs and semi fishing trips. Saturday we make our first honest effort for flounder. We had 51* water temps on Sunday afternoon

I took the cover off last night. I am having a "craigslist bloke" come over to sand/paint the bottom later this week. Would like to get out by mid April, but came home last night to a flooded basement. That will add crap I should be doing instead of getting the boat ready.

RKC; you have the scooter out yet? I rolled mine out a couple weeks ago and fired the old girl up. A couple short runs so far, but that's it for me.

Yes Sir!

:sun:

Yes, the weekend before last took it out both Saturday and Sunday! The upcoming weekend looks great too, but not sure if I will be "up for it". Had a little heart ablation surgery thing last week through the groin which is still feeling a little funny. Got a few little things I can tinker with on the boat though...

Been there before. Let it heal. The weather is only getting better from here on.
I'll let you know when we're going to make a run to Zachary's :party::love::beer:

Why yes, please let me know! Hopefully I will remember my glasses for the "close ups"

Oh oh, to avoid being labled a "chronic hijacker"; back to the topic.

The craigslist guy should be starting sanding my boat today or tomorrow! The wife really doesn't like the idea of a "craigslsit guy" coming over, nor would she like knowing about Zachary's for that matter.
:zip:

It's so nice to look over and see the boat uncovered!

Yeah, the weather here in Florida has been brutal.
Honestly, the wind has made offshore all but impossible. Waxed the Whaler hasn't seen water since Thanksgiving. I need to sell her and use the Wellcraft more often.
