Starboard?????

Whats all this talk I hear about starboard? Is it like a fiberglass that you mold? Or does it come molded in sheets? Also, my entire floor is stressed crack like a mo fo, my pops was telling me to paint it with marine enamel come spring to fill in all the cracks and make it look like new again. Will that work? Also could I use a MEGA GLOSS GOLD™ PREMIUM TOPSIDE SILICONE ENAMEL from Bluewater paints, would that fill all the cracks and make it look new again? Essentially I wanna paint the floor with something thick that will fill the cracks, and still look smooth and shiny. Any tips?

If you do a search on this site you should find some info on deck paint. Shicks007 has some pics in his gallery, he grinded the cracks and filled them with West System before painting and it came out real nice.

Starboard is a plastic not fiberglass, you can cut it and screqw it to what ever you needs, cuts with any wood tools and is great for dashes, floor covers, hatch covers , cutting boards, hard tops, mounting blocks, and what ever else you can think of!!
I even made a built in tackle box for my boat!!

But it can not bend to form corners, and can't be glued, or fiberglassed, can only be put toghter with screws or bolts. Wich makes it limted in a lot of ways.

Fixing your floor is like Nothing says. you need to geta dermel tool and grove all th stress cracks out, and it takes time, and will look really weird when you are done!!
After that its up to you how you want to fill them, some large ones may need some tiger hair (choped fibres mixed in resin) and when dry sand and paint, others need just be fixed with filler of choise,I like Formula 27, But after sanding it has to be painted as most fillers will assorb water if left uncovered.
