T&T

You have a short somewhere. An open would not cause the battery gage to register current flowing. A short will. Take two wires straight from your battery posts to your T&T motor and touch them to the proper connections on the motor. If the motor runs then the problem is in your wires somewhere. If the motor doesn't run then chances are good the motor is shot. :head:

On my 85 Johnson, the same thing happened two weeks ago. I had to cut off the triangular connector in the gunnel and straight wire it. It had corroded to where it didn't work at all.

Also what motor are you working on? It helps to fill out your signature so people know what is beign worked on.
