Talk about clean.....

Tin I was in love, gorgeous, and then I saw it :o

Wide open floor level side to side transom, why in God's name did they do that to a beautiful boat design.
I've seen a couple other pursuits and they did not have that transom arrangement

I know, Willy, but there does look like there is some kind of splash shield that's not installed. See that vertical strip of wood on the staboard side?

I wouldn't let an open/notched transom be the reason for not getting a boat you love. There's ways around that. Ever see a Conch 27? If I decide to keep my boat I will build or have built something similiar. It'll keep the water out and make my screamin Merc much quiter. ;)

Not the best pic, but something like this with a bait/riggin top on it:)

I'm almost thinking I would like this better than a bracket stickin way off the stern.

Obviously for a single engine it wouldn't be as wide as this one, he's got a bait board on top like I would do.

Never seen one of them up close, just in photos. I think I would contract Skools Inc. to just build a wall with large scuppers to match it's existing lines. What a gorgeous ride otherwise. After my 1820 Robalo with the notched transom I am very leary of the notchies. I understand the thinking, take big water over the bow or sides will run out almost as fast as it came in.
Problem is for the other 99% of normal use, drifting, anchored or trolling slow every wake or wave that catches you from the rear puts water all over your floor.
My old fishing boating buddy says you can always tell a guy with the old notched transom boats, they never leave w/o those white plastic boots they sell at the bait shops cheap ;D

Real nice boat!!!

I have a buddy that has a 27 Conch he loves it!! Takes off shore Tuna all the time!

I will tell ya, just the motor behind the full transom is real quiet!!

I bet that would be as quiet as a 4 stroke.
