The Final Chapter!!

:'( Well this is one reaon why I don't buy and sell boats/motors for a living!

I don't know where to begin MJ. First, sorry to hear about the problems with your wife. I hope she gets better soon, but I also know that it will be a tough thing to go through for you and her and we'll be rootin for you.

The motor - F***!! I feel really bad about this man! I am soooo sorry!! I swear it never overheated on me - I guess maybe because the wrong plugs? I don't know. I have a good mind to call the guys that swapped the motors and complain about the missing parts on the motor - they had to have stolen them.

The t-stats were brand new, installed by the previous owner, so they should have been good - unless they were stolen too!

Again, I'm very, very sad and disappointed in reading all of this. My apologies to you MJ and I hope you don't hate me for all of this. :-[ I would have never tried to $hit anybody. If the shipper hadn't broken that lower unit, its worth a pretty penny. We certainly had all 100% bad luck on this deal.

BR, I figured you were gonna feel pretty bad about the outcome of that motor...I understand why you do, but DON'T...nobody on this board, includin' MJ believes for a second you had anything but good intentions sellin' that motor to him...had I been in need, I'd have bought it from ya!!...

MJ, sorry to hear about your wife...sounds like you guys are havin' a tough time of it lately...we'll be thinkin' about you and if there's anything we can do, just holler ...

Old Hebrew sayin' in times of trouble: "This too shall pass"...and it will...

Yo Blu-Runner,
Glad you posted, hell its not your fault at all. Hell, the motor could have been dropped several times causing internal damage. You were just trying to help out a friend as we all were.

MJ. Sorry to hear about your wife, been there myself three years ago.I was only 36 at the time. Was Diving on a wreck in 105 ft, came up with chest pains. Thought I got the bends. Made it to the E.R. before hitting the floor. Some people recover fast, I didnt. I had to learn to walk again myself, go to rehab. My wife, who was only my girlfriend at the time did alot for me, helped me in and out of bed, getting me in and of the tub. I was out of work for a year, almost lost everything and I thought everything in my first marriage. If your kids are still living at home, she will need at the help she can get until she rebounds. AND SHE WILL. Our thoughts and prayer are out there for ya both. DOnt give up on the V. That one listed for $1500.00 sounds good. Go for It !!

Man MJ, that sucks major bro. I will be prayin for you and your wife and I MEAN that. Prayers sent already. If you dont already I might suggest you do some talkin to the big man upstairs. He cares more than you could ever imagine.  ;)

Boat- well I agree with Hammer, Id have bought it too. I believe BR was really tryin to help and it wasnt his fault. I also cant help but wonder what happened while it was "lost" during shipping. :-/

oh he will do that now!!! But then I just smack him in his beaaatch green head and he straightens out. 8)

Of course, I threatened to rotisserie Mrs. Piggy too so that keeps him in line.  :D

MJ very sorry to hear about your wife, obviously you need to take care of that first and do what you can to ease her pain. My prayers are for you both.

Blue we all know better, don't worry about that. Sometimes life comes up and smites you good. MJ when you figure out the compression or whatever you are going to do I'm sure the guys here will be willing to help again, another auction or whatever. Either way you can count on me brother ;)

MJ, I join the others in offering a prayer and hope for a speedy recovery for your wife. Remember, when one door closes, another opens.

MJ,
Prayers sent and will continue for your wifes full and speedy recovery and a resolution to your motor woes as well. I can't give any advise on what to do other than what's been posted already. Best'o Luck Bro.

mj, you've taken it right on the chin the last couple of weeks, stay strong, I wish your wife a speedy recovery.....hang in there

Well the whole saler is going to give me $800

So that leaves me screwed out of, shipping, stater, manual, conectors, and sweat = $800 for my trouble :'(

MJ, SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR WIFE. MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK TO SAY IS THAT AFTER ALL THE BAD LUCK, IT HAS TO GET BETTER SOON. ONE MORNING THE SUN IS GOING TO RISE AND EVERYTHING WILL BE THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.

STAY STRONG BROTHA ;)

Well MJ's wife is still in Intensive Care Unit so I'll have to plan to go remove the Yamaha to prepare for the wholesaler to pick it up.

MJ, tell Margaret I said hi. :)

we all need a friend like you CB. I dont think to many of my friends would be willing to go pull the motor off my boat when i am not around to help.

i am sure MJ is grateful to have you around ;)

Yea he is a great helper as well as a lover!! :-*

Yes he will be getting the motor off for me!!

All is well with BR and I, I chose to speak to him thur PM's and we are fine!!

As for my wife, they don't know if they will be able to save the leg?? It was starved for blood along time.

Time will tell, I work at night and spend days at the hosiptal with the wife, I will be on mostly after 8pm as thats when they kick me out of the hosiptal.

K, Later
