good job Cap, did a little flukin myself today...action was a bit slower and the fish were a bit smaller. Largest about 3 1/2 lbs. at best, lotsa shorts, searobins, and one dogfish. Not the best outing, but a nice day on the water

You got it Phes, just to be on the water is a good day, believe me I'm missing it now.
Good job Capt. fill that cooler, and if you are going by Whitehouse Sta. NJ on the way home and a few fall off the back of your truck , well as Martha says It's a good thing :D

the old expression, and I'm certain most of us have heard it," a bad day fishing beats a good day of workin".......or something like that

Good fluke in Vinyard Sound the past three days. On one drift over the Middle Grounds pulled up three. Most are short but I have been feeding the family and neighborhood on the fillets of the big one's.

Look at them flat toothy little jokers, they should have been named Ambushercers. Built to lay flat and shoot out like a rocket and BAM bait is history. :D

Fire up the grill! I dont know what you all use for flounder up there but the Berkley salt water minnow or shrimp is a killer and the little crap fish cant get them off the hook so you can keep them on the bottom and not worry about constantly checking them. They are expensive but will last for several fish, even little blues..Frank

I HAVE A SALTWATER CREEK BY MY HOUSE THAT I  KEEP MY TRAPS IN , I USE LIVE LARGE MINNOWS, SPEARING, SMALL EELS, AND ANY FISH THAT COMES INTO THEM , BUT I LET GO THE BABY FLUKE I SOMETIMES GET, IF I WANT GREEN CRAB ILL PUT FLUKE HEADS IN THEM

Oh baby! Those look good. I can't wait to get MJ's boat running so's we can get us some of them! That's some good eating there son. ;)

Man cappy, either you have really really small feet or those are some nice flatties!!

BTW, I have a pic of some flounder we caught a few years ago with my mom's foot in the pic for good measure. I think its funny that people will put their foot in the picture :) but otherwise, you couldn't tell how big they really were.

I think I'm gonna go with a beer can next time just to mix things up. LOL

3 hours and 7 fish?? Thats sucks!!~ the ones you have there are nice but I would not even start the boat for 7 fish!!

6 hours and 200 pounds later thats what I am talking about!! ;D
