Wanted? V20 cuddy in NJ

WHo's got a V20 cuddy in NJ for low $. Don't need a motor or trailer. Just a decent hull that can be readily fished safely for one season(this season).
I'm in the process of making a decision as to whether to skip the fishing season and cap-off restore my '84, or get another hull and swap all my good stuff, or fish another hull for a summer while I work on mine....

...or move up to a 25' with twins:pray:

Skunk, you got the right idea. I wished I had bought a good condition V for 2500-3500 to use while mine was laid up and could sell for pretty much what I paid when she was done. That year or so not being on the water almost killed me. Made the wifey pretty ornery too. Since then the only rule she has is I can have as many as I want in the yard as long as at least one is jam up ready to drop in the water at all times.

Did you check out the one in toms river? There's another one for sale here and on the Bassbarn. The member's name is ajc.
I'm getting rid of my Grady but the transom needs to be replaced and I'm not going to do it anymore since I'm not in love with the hull and I have my wellcraft. Hopefully in a few years I'll be able to pick up a V and redo it.

Interesting but the seadrive is a problem for me. Can't use my Suzuki on it without doing a bracket...which leads to transom....which leads to another project boat....
Thanks for posting though.

I'll be posting my 84 cuddy for sale in the next few days when I get some better pictures. I blew a rod bearing in my mercury. All it needs is your zuki, and you can restore yours.

It comes complete with bimini and full canvases front, sides and back. Custom bolster seats out of a searay amberjack (super comfortable). Starboard seat bases, passenger side with tackle storage. A folding removable bench seat on the spashwell. A new vfh this spring and an older lowrance hds5 (fishfinder part doesn't work, chartplotter works great). An anchor pulpit and swim platform both crafted from Trex. A new 54 gallon poly fuel tank 5(?) years ago. Included is a single axle very road worthy trailer with newer (3 years?) non marking rollers, new tires and springs two years ago and new hubs and bearings last season.

Now the bad, the floor is a little soft in front of drivers seat and the boat has some cracks in the sill below the cuddy opening. The boat has years of fishing war wounds. chips, scratches and a bump against a piling in front. the transom is slightly damp (the same as it was when I bought the boat years ago), but is still very strong with no flexing.

Anyway... if your interested let me know.
I'm trying to get $3000 for boat trailer and everything included.

Thanks,
Chris

Edit: Bennett trim tabs and Baystar hydraulic steering also. Seven rail mount clamp on rod holders too!
