Weight of a 1976 V20

I am looking at a 76 V20 cuddy. I have checked the NADA site and they list the weight at 1900# without the motor. Does this sound right ???

At that weight do the V20's handle chop fairly well?

1960 + 400 motor + 400 gas + gear + people you are well over 3000 when under way!!

MJ's right...by the time you find yourself in that chop, you'l have added considerably to that weight...which is same as my '74...


Keep in mind, FOR A 20'er, other boats won't handle water better, but the "V-20" is still a 20' boat...I don't have 'em, but I'm sure these boats would benefit greatly w/ the addition of trim-tabs...very sharp "V" needs to be down to better BUST that nasty chop ...
