Wellcraft Catalogs

Hey Guys!!

I have put these catalogs on ebay.

This is a good way to support the site ;)

All the $$ from the sale of the catalogs will allow us to purchase the remaining 17 catalogs and maybe reimburse Labii (for emptying his wallet on the 71 and 75 catalog).  Thanks for your support!!

Catalog years we still need:

72, 74, 77, 78, 79, 80, 83, 84, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91, 93, 95, 96.

(I have the 92 and BigCat has the 81 and 82)  They'll be in the gallery soon.

Re: Support the site => Buy a Wellcraft Catalog

Bigshrimpin, I have 94 catalog and that is really the only one I want. Besides I am too technophobic to do ebay.

However, I have an idea that would be good to let us support the site, as well as promote the site.

I have seen your signature banner www.welcraftv20.com on THT. It is really sharp looking and it would make a great patch for a cap. Caps are great promotional advertising, because they get worn much more than tshirts. I would pay for at least one to enjoy, and help support and promote the site, and I would bet that most members would also.

Re: Support the site => Buy a Wellcraft Catalog

Just noticed that the signature -- logo thing I was talkin about, is at the top of this page. Duh is me. ::)

Would also make a great tshirt or coffee mug, but if you had to choose just one item to get started -- I would go with caps.

Re: Support the site => Buy a Wellcraft Catalog

We were just talking about coffee mugs this past weekend. My father in law has a 1957 Chris Craft so of course he has a Chris Craft coffee mug. I said I'll have to get me a Wellcraft mug. It could be a Wellcraft V-20.com mug. I wouldn't mind having a 1990 catalog too. I'll support the site which ever way. Bill Mc ;D

Re: Support the site => Buy a Wellcraft Catalog

Thanks MC, MJ, and Seakindly . . . I'll see if I can get a small order of caps and mugs made up. I'm really just interested in locating the rest of the catalogs and keeping you guys happy ;D

Re: Support the site => Buy a Wellcraft Catalog

Hey Bigshrimpin, since THT has about a million members, have you ever made a post over there asking if anyone has or knows anyone with any of those old wellcraft catalogs? They are a pretty helpful bunch of boaters over there, and I would think that some would be willing to help locate, donate, or loan a catalog for such a worthwhile cause. Another possible source, if they don't hate us already, -- Wellcraft. Also worth a try -- any longtime Wellcraft dealers.

Re: Support the site => Buy a Wellcraft Catalog

I tried wellcraft a few times, Mike Carr - one of the customer service guys scanned a few v20 images from different catalogs years, but could not loan me the catalogs.

I tried a few long-time dealers without success.  Every place that I called seemed to only have catalogs from the last few years.  I certainly have not exhausted this resource, but I was a little discouraged.

thehulltruth is a good suggestion . . . not sure why I didn't think of that.    ???

Hey,
Great job on the site and i'll provide whatever support I can...now, send me my catalog!

Thanks

GETTING CLOSE TO NOT BEING A NEWBIE

BigShrimpin -- saw your post on THT, and how we just missed an 83 catalog. That's ok -- we'll get more -- but you/we will have to keep bumping up that post.

Eventually, we will get all of the newer ones as members buy boats from original owners,as I did.

It is the older catalogs that will be the real challenge.
