i always group up all parts and buy from boatfix to save shipping they are cheapest but i have a local marina that is same price without shipping. where BR stayed last yr Dudley's Marina Swansboro NC
Thanks guys. Right now I'm looking at tilt tube (sp?) on the motor that houses the steering cable and a new steering cable/ nfb system. I have been on boatstoreusa and iboats but have not ordered from them before. BTW, what is the correct name for that tube the steering cable runs through and is there a step by step for a DIY replacement. Reason I'm looking for a replacement is my steering cable is beyond frozen an I have to pull my big V6 to get a new cable in. I beat the hell out of it so the end is scarred and will probably scratch that tube during my efforts to get it all the way out. I've got a West Marine locally but their prices are ridiculous.
Thanks,
Maury
Re: What's your favorite place for online parts? &
Flounder, I believe it's called the engine tilt tube...
Also, I've used Boatstore USA and I highly recommend them. See my testimony in the links section... Suffice it to say, they are good people and I'd buy from them again.
