Fixing up the 88

What???? No bow light? Is that legal?? No, seriously, I love the pulpit idea. What the heck, I am going to do all this work, may as well customize a bit.

Nope no more bow light, But I just ordered side light one for each side, should be here at the end of the week.
Then I will be able to start work, I have to wire the new Tac, 2 new gas vents, lights, new stainless lug nuts, then I can start decarb and ready for the season!!

When a center mounted bow-light gets displaced by a trollin' motor or a pulpit, a pair of these work great...

I had to make a pair of 3/4" Starboard risers to get them above the "lip" ... gotta luv that Starboard ;) ...

I just ordered the side lights, that bolt side ways, going to put them under the windsheild, thy be protedted there.

Thanks Kevin. Did you check out the link, and would you say that the model 726 R/C is about what you have on yours?

Thanks again,

Looks like it is the same thing....I can take a side photo when I get home and post it....not sure what the R/C would mean but it looks like they have 2 options depending on the weight of the anchor.

Phots's are always appreciated, right Hammer ;D I've got 860 miles of driving to do Tuesday and Wednesday, then its two whole weeks of meesing around with boats. ;D

Mine is not a self launcher, but just a little wiggle and she is gone!!

Buthad I know that they had a self launcher I would have it! I always learn the good stuff after! :'(

Is that a self launcher. Hmm, seen one of them on a boat at the boat yard. Hmmm. ;D

Just priced the side bow lights at West Marine. Freakin nuts. 89.00 for two little lights. >:( >:( >:( >:(

i like the side lights as well and have them on a couple but they are only legal if your stern light is center on the boat. if your rear light is on one side they aren't outside legal only legal inland waters

Skools, is the same true for the manner in which Reel has his mounted or are you referring to those who have them mounted on the actual side of the boat (on the hull)?
